About Chris

Chris was born in South Bend, IN, but has lived in many places around the world...

Chris grew up in places like Delaware, Rhode Island, then for most of his childhood he lived in Gulf port Mississippi, where he, like Elvis attended the First Assembly of God Church.

Chris says "it was in Mississippi as a kid, that I really became infatuated with Elvis. His music was always on the stereo and my parents had all the records. It was when "Burning Love" came out in the early 70's and I heard it for the first time on my little AM radio, that I knew I wanted to be a musician. That Christmas, at the age of 9, I received my first guitar and it was love at first sight for me."

As a teenager, Chris' parents split up and they moved to Michigan. It was in Decatur, MI where Chris met his childhood friend and fellow ETA Doug Church. After High School Chris, joined the Air Force. While in the service, he lived in England for 2 years then 2 more years in Montgomery, AL. Chris say’s "I actually found out a few years later that my birth father's (whom he never knew), family were from Florence Alabama.

While growing up, Chris had full access to his parents Elvis record collection. It was those records that Chris says helped him through some very difficult times while growing up. Although he had always enjoyed, and sang along with those records since the age of 3, he hadn’t considered starting an Elvis Tribute act until after he helped his buddy Doug Church get going. He says, "I remember the first Elvis album I had exposed Doug to. It was "Girl Happy". Although Doug had of course heard Elvis sing before, it wasn’t until he saw how much I was into Elvis, that really got him into it. We used to sing Elvis's songs for hours upon hours. "

"When I did finally decide to start my own Elvis Tribute act, "I worked and practiced super hard to polish up my show in that first couple of years." Within a couple of years I had worked for the famous "Legends In Concert" in Las Vegas. Chris even won first place in the "Images of Elvis, World Wide Impersonator’s Contest" held in Memphis, TN. I’ve been fortunate enough to win quite a few contests over the years".

After much traveling over the years with his show, Chris decided to finally settle down a bit and buy a home of his own and he now lives in Kalamazoo, MI.& has 2 daughters Lona & Faith. Faith was even born on Elvis’ birth date of Jan, 8th!

Chris has been performing his Elvis show for many years now professionally and is very comfortable in front of an audience. He always seems to get a great response wherever he performs! Not only with his singing and costuming, but because people seem genuinely "entertained"! He has such a talent for connecting with an audience, and always seems to leave folks smiling!
